Perfect Vegetarian Diet Plan For Gym Beginners

Well you may find thousands of articles where in experts would suggest as to what to incorporate in your diet and what not to. Believe many of them work and many of them don’t.

So being a gym enthusiast myself (Shitij Jain) and going to gym for the past 3 months, I will give you my diet plan that I initially followed to grow some muscles. I will not reveal my biceps inches or any other dimensions as then you might think that I am boasting off. But will tell you as to what changes you need to incorporate in your diet to grow muscles.

First of all, all you need to follow any diet plan is a strong will power. Indeed you have to give upon your luxuries (junk food) to make the diet plan that I am providing you to work. Second thing that you need to possess to follow the diet plan is time management. And yeah, I know that you are a school or college going student, so in that case you need to carry the diet very well from your home only. The third thing that you need to make the diet plan work for you is “Patience”. You might be following the diet plan but not getting the desired results. The only thing to get the desired results is not to expect anything. Indeed changes will be there and it will be there for the world to see.

Here’s my perfect vegetarian diet plan for gym beginners

7:30 AM – One bowl of oats.
10:00 AM – Brown bread + One glass of milk.
12:00 AM – One glass of fresh juice.
1:30 PM – 2-3 chapatis + 1 Bowl of rice + Vegetables + Curd + Salad + Cheese (100gm)
4:30 PM – One glass of chiku shake.
6:30 PM – Sweet potato (250 gm)
7:30 PM – Eat one apple before going to gym assuming that you go to gym at 7:30 PM
9:00 PM – Take 100 gram cheese + One of glass juice after workout assuming that you finish your workout.
10:00 PM – 1-2 chapatis + salad + vegetables

Initially this diet plan will be extremely tough to follow. Being a food junkie myself, I had junk food cravings too. But I somehow constantly motivated myself to move on and follow the diet guidelines. I knew it once I become successful in taking this diet for 1-2 weeks, it would become my habit. The toughest thing was to start drinking chiku shake. I simply could not resist the awful smell of chiku and never had thought in my worst dreams to drink it’s shake. But I did it.

The diet plan provided to you is perfect mix of carbohydrates, proteins, fat, glutamine and dietary fiber. If I being a lazy a$$ incorporated it in my diet, then you could too. You can comment below if you are not able to sustain the motivation to follow the diet plan. I can help you out in that regard too. There are some foods that you should eat for building abs.

  1. I would assume the same applies to vegan? I am trying to get in shape all while eating as vegan and it’s taking a toll on me :) But I enjoy it. I’ve seen a lot of people get ripped as vegans and I just think you need to consume more. At the end of the day though, removing those processed foods and junk in our bodies from toxins, it’s a win win win for our bodies! Thanks for sharing, great article!
